The SD card must be 2gb or lower. If its an SDHC card it must be under 3gbs. But for now just stick with a 2gb SD card.

Here the one I have ($12):

My laptop has a built-in SD card reader. So I am lucky enough to just plug it in and go. If you don't have an SD card reader you probably want to buy one ($10-$20):

BEGINNER'S TUTORIAL

Start off by downloading the hacks at: http://www.mediafire.com/?nudknzudmzy

If you cannot open the .rar file make sure to download WinRAR
http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar392.exe OR http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-392.exe

When you finish downloading SSBBHacks.rar open it up and you should see four files: http://www.mediafire.com/?mdyyd2nwyjw

Insert your SD card into your computer and open up its folder. THIS IS IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THE FOLDER IS EMPTY. When there is nothing in the SD card's folder, take the four files you got from the download and drag them in this folder.

Its that simple. All you have to do now is turn on the Wii, plug in the SD card, run the game, go to Stage Editor, and select Launch Game. Here is an example (ignore the fact that he is using it to play Brawl+, I had to edit the code to take out Brawl+ which will be explained in the advance tutorial):

The hacks that are in the four files are:
-No tripping
-9 custom Subspace Emissary stages
-Custom character selection screen
-Texture hacks for the first costume of every character
-Colored shields (depends on player #)
-Unrestricted pause camera
-Tags appear in replays
-No more 3 minute limit to save replays

If you wish to learn how to add your own hacks or learn how I even figured out how to do all this, it will be explained in the advance tutorial.
